1. Create Profile

This profile template is a collection of various supporting evidence. Please review and carefully consider every piece of evidence requested by it. Every piece of evidence, small or big, can ultimately provide strong support for your application as a whole.

If you have evidences that we don't support, please drop us a message in the chat window, we will add that for your quickly.

Translation If you submit a document with information in a foreign language, you must also submit a full English translation. The translator must sign a certification that the English language translation is complete and accurate, and that they are competent to translate from the foreign language into English. The certification must also include their signature, printed name, the signature date, and their contact information. [ref]

Diploma

If your highest degree was not earned at a U.S. university, it's necessary to provide a U.S. equivalency certification as part of your immigration petition, such as for the EB1, NIW, or O1A categories. This certification, also known as a foreign credential evaluation, demonstrates to the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) that your foreign degree is equivalent to a U.S. degree in your field of expertise.

There are many providers for such certifications. Here are a few:

When you upload a diploma proof file (PDF), please attach your equivalency certification to the end of this PDF.

Submit Your Profile!

Now you can try to generate the free demo or make a payment to enjoy the full features~

A paid user can analyze all papers/citations, access approved petition letters, assemble docs into ready-to-file.pdf, edit and download petition package, etc.

2. Organize your Research

Now, generate your SoC or NIW package. The first step is to organize your research. All your achievements are placed in "Uncategorized" group. Please note, achievements in the uncategorized group will not be included in the final petition package. We suggest grouping your research into 3 - 5 topics. Make sure every topic has enough supporting evidence to use. It is just like how you organize your Ph.D. thesis: a big topic with several subtopics, and under each subtopic, you have publications, citations, awards to include. This way, the smaller pieces of evidence within each subtopic can support the major significance of your work under this subtopic. Together, the major significance of your work in each subtopic can support the overall significance of your work within the larger topic.

Click the 'CONFIRM' button in the top right corner after you finish your grouping. The system will then proceed to the next step

3. Analyze Citations

In this step, you will check missing files, verify that the files downloaded by Quickfiling are correct, and review citation highlights.

Check Missing Files

Due to intellectual property issues, our system can only download publications that are publicly accessible. The resource links for publications are collected from Google Scholar. For those that are not publicly accessible, you will need to download and upload them yourself. We also provide users with a script (Login required to visit this link) to simplify this process as much as possible. However, we cannot download all publications. Please be aware that there may be many publications you need to download and upload manually.

"IGNORE" If you think one of the missing files is not important to your petition, you can click the 'IGNORE' button to ignore it. This way, you won't need to upload this file, and it will not be analyzed or added to your petition.

Verify Existing Files

There are two purposes for this step. First, the resource links provided by Google Scholar may not be the official versions of the publications. You can manually verify if the downloaded PDF files are acceptable. Second, you may not want to include citations from low-tier conferences, or some of your publications (e.g., very old papers that are not the main focus of your petition package). At this step, you can choose to 'IGNORE' those publications, so they won't be analyzed and included in your petition package.

Note: Statistical data of your citations, such as the total number of citations and citation maps, include all data related to your citations. Your 'IGNORED' papers or citations will still be included in such statistical data.

Click "NEXT:GENERATE CITATION HIGHLIGHTS" to next step.

Review Citation Highlights

In this page, you can review each citation of your publications, and select "notable citations" that you want to put in your petition letter.

Click the paper you wanna review. Then you can see a pop-up window as below.

Quickfiling classifies the citations into three groups: 'Positive,' 'Neutral,' and 'Negative.' You can review each group and select or remove citations from your petition package. You can also click the 'PDF' button to view the 'original citation text' in the paper.

After you finish "Highlights review", click "GENERATE REPROT" button on bottom to generate your full NIW package.

4. Generate your NIW package.

Now, you can go out and grab a coffee to enjoy some time for yourself. Quickfiling will fetch your documents and prepare your NIW petition package. Depending on the complexity of your profile, it could take up to 1 hour to generate your NIW package.

Now, everything is ready for review. Click 'VIEW NIWKIT REPORT' to see your NIW package. You can also share this folder with your Dropbox account, so you can edit the files online.

5. Polish Your Petition Letter.

The Petition Letter is the most important part of your petition and deserves to be drafted carefully.

Read "Approved Petition Letter Examples" Carefully.

These examples are provided to paid customers only. Read them carefully, so you get a sense of how a good PL should be.

Work on the PL draft.

We have assembled everything into a petition letter draft and a summary of contributions for your reference. However, you still need to carefully revise your petition letter, for example, correct errors, add new evidence, etc. A skilled writer can usually finish this in 2~4 hours.

6. Fill Forms

We provided detailed instructions and examples (Login required to visit this URL) to fill forms required in you NIW petition. Read and check carefully.

7. Assemble and Submission

You can find a step-by-step guide (Login required to visit this URL) on how to print and submit your petition.

Click the Assemble button.

Quickfiling system will assemble all your documents into a ready-to-file.pdf. You can find this file in your DropBox folder.

Print and Mail.

Simply print this ready-to-file.pdf single-sided on letter-size paper. 'NIWKIT Instructions' provide a completed checklist. Make sure you mark every checkbox before mailing your petition.
